I have been given the Echook board from a fellow member of my Greenpower team. After that I haven't seen him since. So now I'm stuck with this board and its bits with no guidance whatsoever. I have just plugged in the board to my computer and I think it is already programmed with some of the code. I can see a green flashy LED and 2 read small ones, one flashing. Can anyone give me some tips or guidance?
Thanks a lot!

Hey, certainly! Best place to start is the documentation - docs.eChook.uk To read the data from it on a phone there's the eChook Companion app on the play store. If you have any questions ask away It does sound like the board is programmed, so most likely you need to look at the connecting it to the car section to see where the sensors plug in.

Thanks, On the main website it says that the board can measure things like the temp and the throttle. Would you need to buy the probes separately and then pair them to the board? Also,i have a few separate pieces, are they just spares for the resistors and capacitors...

Got a picture of what you've been given? I can probably help identify the bits. They might be the sensors...
Throttle is read in from whatever throttle you have on the car, no need for a second sensor. Two thermistors are needed for temperature, and two hall effect sensors and some magnets for wheel and motor speed. If you need them they can all be bought in eBay for a few quid.
The current is measured with a current sensor which is the most expensive bit if the kit - just under £20 to get a new one, best source is farnell.
If you need them I'll find some links, but on my phone at the moment.
