One of the main areas that we've seen teams building on top of the eChook is in the way their telemetry data is displayed. The data that the app sends out to Dweet can be accessed through JavaScript on any website, so to help teams that might want to try this we have made a very basic telemetry website that can be copied and built upon. This site includes all the code required to fetch data from dweet.io, and display it on the website, but leaves all the layout and styling for your team to develop through HTML and CSS.
It includes links to good introduction youtube courses on website building for those that might need them, and also includes instructions on how to host this website for free through GitHub (where the eChook website is also hosted, and all the code stored).
Hopefully that's helpful to some teams! Looking forward to see what people do with it - and feel free to ask any questions here

If you are using dweet, you might as well use freeboard as well.
The dweet and freeboard platforms work great together, and the dashboard looks nicer.
Here is a tutorial on using them together:
Best of all, you can host freeboard yourself, for free, forever!

Hi freeboard - I'm guessing you're from Bug Labs? In which case let me say thank you very much for both the dweet and freeboard services, they are excellent! When we started eChook we did use Freeboard, had a dashboards set up for teams to start from etc but when the free version was retired we saw most teams move to using the dweet.io/follow/{thing} interface and we removed the freeboard section from the documentation. You are right though, and we should add a section on hosting their own copy of freeboard through github as it gives a very good dashboard. eChook has always been an educational project however, and my aim with this template was to give a starting point to teams wanting to build a HTML/CSS website of their own to show their data. Never hurts to have plenty of options! Thanks for posting
