Hey, last ditch attempt to fix this before race day. We've just finished sorting our system out and after uploading the config code that tells the sensor we are using 5 magnets and not 4, our app no longer connects properly and will continuously disconnect and reconnect without ever actually showing data. It doesnt matter what phone we use to load the app on and have tried moving the baud rate line of code from the code to the configuration and changed the rate from the original 9600 to the 115200 we are told to. The app was not doing this before reuploading our new code

Apparently changing the amount of magnets on the motor to 0 makes the Bluetooth go on the fritz. After changing it back to 1 everything works fine. Although we still get an incorrect speed reading of about 11 mph when we're expecting to be in the 30's If anyone knows how to make the speed sensor work properly with out 5 magnets please let us know. I will include a picture of our code lines

Hi - I replied on Facebook regarding the 0 magnets... you've found a very long-standing bug that I will fix soon, sorry about that!
Regarding the wrong speed readings, this is most often a case of some magnets are mounted the wrong way around. Easy to check - if you move the wheel by hand, move each magnet back and forth under the sensor and check that the app shows a speed reading. If a couple (3, judging by your shown Vs expected speed) are wrong, the easiest fix before the final is probably to change the config and reflash the Arduino to the number of working magnets
